GIORGIO ARMANI TRIBUTES PETER LINDBERGH WITH EXHIBITION

In a tribute to renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh, Giorgio Armani will house a photo exhibition called “Heimat. A Sense of Belonging” inside his Silos space in Milan. Personally curated by the designer with the Peter Lindbergh Foundation, it opens to the public on Feb. 22 and runs through Aug. 2. The exhibit will include both published and unpublished works by the high-profile lensman, who died last year at 74. Known for his moody, cinematic imagery that highlights a timeless glamour and modern realism, Lindbergh’s understanding of femininity, his interest in personality and proclivity for truth have always set him apart. Among his most famous works are the black and white series starring the supermodels from the Nineties - Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Tatjana Patitz, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington. His fashion clients include Giorgio Armani, Dior, Louis Vuitton and the Pirelli calendar.
