032C UNVEILS “SYSTÈME DE LA MODE”

With “Système de la Mode”, Berlin-based brand 032c explores a new language spoken via highly technical and sustainable materials, elevated manufacturing techniques and timeless cuts. The idea is to create versatile pieces that can be combined to fit the various personalities and settings, but that also adapt to the environment and to their surroundings, visibly changing according to light or temperature – just as people do. “Système de la Mode proposes a study of fashion as language and garments as signs. This collection responds to what is happening in the world, on an individual level and globally,” says Maria Koch, Creative Director of 032c. “But it also has a vision beyond reality, of something more magical – it’s about realizing potential, immediately.” In other words, thanks to exclusive fabrics developed by Ferdinand Schmidt, the treatments vary from heat sensitive to glow-in-the- dark and from reflective to nylons that reveal the wearer’s body temperature.
