KIRIN F/W 2019-20

Kirin is the new fashion line designed by ultra-popular South-Korean techno DJ and producer Peggy Gou, and is part of New Guards Group, whose portfolio includes Off-White, Heron Preston, Alanui and Marcelo Burlon. The eclectic, multi-talented and directional Gou, who isn’t a designer but studied at the London College of Fashion, named her line after the Korean word for what she describes as her “sprit animal”, the giraffe. Her signature design ethos is hinged on wearable colorful pieces, a mismatch of men’s wear, feminine elements and street edge that reflect her personal style. Her debut collection is as exuberant as her personality, mixing plenty of color-blocking, total denim, Kirin logos, Korean mythological patterns and club culture motifs.
