LINDBERG celebrates the new sun collection through a site specific installation by Yuko Nishikawa, the Brooklyn based artist known for her visionary Mobiles. Revealed during September’s Armory Show in New York, the work transforms the brand’s production elements laser cut titanium, milled acetate and sun lenses into suspended kinetic sculptures.
Nishikawa draws from the hues of LINDBERG’s titanium frames and lenses to explore the relationship between color and emotion, and how movement reshapes perception. The mobiles drift in space, balanced by fine threads, a direct reference to the brand’s signature titanium wire frames.
The installation evolves into a sensory environment. Floating forms cast multicolored shadows, while layered sun lenses act as optical filters, subtly altering the perception of the surrounding space. Each element responds to the movement of visitors.
For SS26, LINDBERG introduces acetate into spirit titanium, where opposing materials meet in a design language shaped by reduction, precision, and modular customization.
This new proposal completes the sun collection, alongside new styles in air titanium Rim and n.o.w. titanium. Contrasting materials in weight and character coexist within the same design approach, defined by reduction and essentiality.
Customization follows a modular logic, where dimensions, colors and fit are shaped around individual needs.
The new SS26 collection is available by order.
