Nike has teamed up with Olivia Kim, Vice President of Creative Projects at Nordstrom, who designed a limited-edition Air Force 1 women’s sneaker, inspired by NYC's rave scene in the Nineties, also a golden age for the city’s creative expression. A true New Yorker and big sneaker head, Kim combined funky, unexpected materials for a bold, loud look imagined for dancing the night away. The upper is completely covered in an electric blue corduroy spiked by a neon yellow snakeskin heel tab and Swoosh, adapted from the 1996's Snake AF-1. And forget luminous sticks at the disco or rave party - the sneaker's midsole and outsole glow-in-the-dark, swinging everyone's attention to your feet.
