ADIDAS ORIGINALS X SIMONE ROCHA

For Fall/Winter 26, Simone Rocha reinterprets the most recognizable codes of adidas Originals through her distinctive aesthetic vocabulary of romanticism, ornamental details, and feminine silhouettes. Unveiled during London Fashion Week, the collaboration stems from a dialogue that began several years ago, finding a natural point of connection between sportswear and couture.
The collection is built around a series of contrasts: femininity and functionality, ceremony and intimacy, desire and power. Sport-inspired codes are reworked through Simone Rocha’s signature details, from bows, ruffles, pearls, and tulle to soft proportions set against the graphic language of the Three Stripes.
At its core is Rocha’s personal take on sportswear. She has spoken of growing up wearing adidas running shorts beneath vintage tutus, a combination that captures the spirit of the collaboration. References to Perry Ogden’s Pony Kids photographs, documenting young members of the Irish Traveller community in the 1990s, add a more candid, everyday dimension to the collection.
Among the key pieces, the Ballerina + Taekwondo brings a Rocha perspective to adidas’ sporting heritage. Crafted from soft nappa leather, it features a pleated toe, crystal and pearl-effect details, Three Stripes with a fixed bow on elastic, and a scalloped back patch with Trefoil branding.
The ready-to-wear follows the same approach. The Firebird Jacket plays with an oversized, cropped silhouette, puff sleeves, and Recofill insulation. The piqué Beckenbauer Track Top is defined by an A-line shape layered over tulle and mesh, while the Superstar Track Top in Scarlet red features mid-length balloon sleeves.
A relaxed nylon dress combines three-quarter sleeves with a drawstring hood, while ruffles and red adidas Three Stripes tape accentuate the design. The same language carries through to the Frill Skirt and Frill Pants, both featuring three tiers of ruffles and contrasting logos. The fitted piqué bodysuit keeps the silhouette clean and streamlined, finished with a half-length front zipper and adidas branding in white Three Stripes. Finally, the Puff Sleeve Tee and long-sleeve T-shirts translate the collection’s soft movement through ruffles and voluminous sleeves in white and pale pink.
From September 10 to 17, a dedicated corner at the Sant’Andrea store explores the meeting point between Simone Rocha and the heritage of adidas Originals.
