SACAI X CARHARTT WIP SS26

Fourth capsule collection by sacai x Carhartt WIP, a new exploration of hybridisation expressed through layering and deconstruction. Archival Carhartt WIP pieces are reinterpreted by Chitose Abe, resulting in garments that balance recognisability with reinvention.
The collection brings together sacai signature pieces such as the Balmacaan overcoat, the tailored jacket and the MA 1 blouson with Carhartt WIP icons including the Detroit Jacket, the Chore Coat and the Siberian Parka.
Robust canvas meets technical fabrics and nylon twill. Contrast stitching, tool pockets and corduroy collars preserve the American brand’s utility spirit, while deconstruction, layering and sculptural proportions reflect the Japanese label’s design language.
Chitose Abe deconstructs Carhartt WIP workwear DNA and reframes it through a tailored lens. Bombers combine different materials within a single coherent piece, and functional pockets are applied to tailored garments.
The sacai x Carhartt WIP SS26 collection consists of nine pieces in menswear and unisex styles, available in black, blue and ivory.
