NIKE AND JACQUEMUS MOON SHOE

The fourth collaboration between Simon Porte Jacquemus and Nike focuses on the world of running, deeply rooted in the DNA of the American brand. At its center is the Moon Shoe, originally handcrafted by Bill Bowerman in 1972 and now reimagined for the first time in history.
The first Nike model to feature the waffle sole blends sporting heritage with the refined aesthetic of classical dance, expressed through a crinkled nylon upper, full-grain leather, and a dynamic Nike Grind sole.
“Three years ago, when I visited the Nike archives, I discovered the historic Moon Shoe for the first time,” says Simon Porte Jacquemus. “A running shoe that is unique and minimal, timeless yet modern. I immediately recognized the opportunity to tell a new story and reinterpret it in the Jacquemus style.”
The Jacquemus logo appears on the tongue, heel, and insole, with the leather heel counter reinforced for structure. Exclusive co-branded Blue Ribbon Sports packaging pays homage to Nike’s origins, creating a bridge between Beaverton and Paris.
Two colorways complete the release: University Red with Bicycle Yellow and Off Noir with Gum Light Brown, now available in-store and online.
