Located in Rio de Janeiro’s buzzy Copacabana area, Handred creates unique artisanal pieces for contemporary individuals. In its dynamic atelier, nostalgic memories and desires are transformed into clothing crafted in luxurious fabrics such as linen, silk, cotton, merino wool, and cashmere, enriched with labor-intensive embroidery or hand-painted details to produce long-lasting artistic pieces that reflect our inspiration in tropical Brazilian modernism.
It was founded by André Namitalaat, spurred by his passion for couturier workshops. The collections embody fresh and sensitive ideas inspired by travels around the world and the essence of Rio de Janeiro's lifestyle. Committed to sustainable growth, every garment is meticulously crafted within the atelier through a mindful production process. The brand is now exclusively available at Antonia Milano, debuting with the Interwaves Capsule, co-created with multimedia Brazilian artist Vivian Caccuri. In a street-meets-tailoring feel, delicately patterned and embroidered silk, organza, linen, and cotton gain a raw edge with applications of slate, pyrite, and black tourmaline.
