MONCLER X FRAGMENT

Following their debut collaboration in 2018, Moncler and Fragment reunite for “Rise Above the Chaos,” an invitation to leave behind the noise of the city and reconnect with the purity of mountain landscapes.
The concept begins with an act of reduction. Hiroshi Fujiwara strips away the unnecessary, distilling his urban references to their essence before setting out toward the peaks. The campaign accompanying the collection features the designer himself, photographed against white backgrounds that underscore the project’s minimalist approach.
A cable car becomes the visual symbol of the narrative, marking the passage from city to mountain, from chaos to quiet.
At the heart of the collection is a reinterpretation of the vintage Japanese varsity jacket, a style historically associated with Fujiwara’s personal wardrobe. For Moncler, the silhouette is reimagined as a reversible style and detailed with embroidery depicting an imagined map of the journey from Japan to Italy, highlighting the connection between the two brands and their shared affinity for the mountains.
The palette moves between deep green and black, with a dégradé check pattern serving as a defining visual code of the collaboration. The graffiti-inspired Moncler FRGMT logo takes on a graphic dimension, while embroidered details pay tribute to Casa Moncler, the brand’s new Milan headquarters.
The result is a mid-season wardrobe of jackets, hoodies, T-shirts, and cotton gabardine pants.
The reversible Ryūh Jacket is the focus of the project, conceived by Fujiwara as a reinterpretation of traditional outerwear. One side combines checked cotton flannel with a nylon canvas reverse, while a corduroy collar, snap-button pockets, and drawstring hem complete its functional construction.
Available in two colorways, the Jitsuyō Hooded Windbreaker brings mountain-inspired construction into the city through a technical fabric shell lined with micro mesh, finished with a visor hood and oversized pockets.
The zip-up hoodie continues the collaboration’s outdoor spirit with checked flannel inserts along the sleeves, paired with graphic details that echo the collection’s visual language.
