BOTTEGA VENETA'S ARCO BAG DEBUTS AT ANTONIA

Ahead of the official Pre-Fall 2019 launch, Bottega Veneta unveils its new Arco bag with an exclusive display at Antonia Milano, timed in conjunction with the Salone del Mobile design week. From April 5th, the Arco will be available in Bottega Veneta’s Milan stores, Antonia and on bottegaveneta.com. Available in four sizes in a palette of natural colors, the Arco establishes a new language of “intrecciato” with a deconstructed, orthogonal weave that brings a looser and modern sensibility to Bottega Veneta’s iconic craftsmanship. Crafted with a new variety of sophisticated French Calf, matched with suede, the unlined interiors reveal the bag’s precise construction. The largest size, the Arco 75, is available for men and alternates French Calf and suede. Named after the Neoclassical Arco della Pace in Milan, the bag tributes the house’s Italian roots and its longstanding crafting expertise with an architectural design - a dome-shaped flap, sinuous tubular handles and a rectangular base. Each bag requires over 100 pieces of leather.
