The elegance of the natural world is the starting point of the Moncler + JIL SANDER collaboration, a collection that combines sophisticated precision with technical mountain expertise.
The silhouettes are soft, almost sculptural, inspired by the rounded forms found in nature: snow-capped peaks, rolling hills, the profile of a polished stone. These shapes translate into generous volumes and a neutral palette that emphasizes natural textures and premium fibres.
The two worlds meet in a subtle play of contrasts: soft and resilient, luxurious and functional. The collection is defined by voluminous layers and a sense of roundness drawn from wide open spaces. Natural fibres enhance its sensitivity, with a focus on soft double-faced wool, lightweight washed cotton twill, and down-filled nylon.
The single-breasted Rhamnose jacket in double wool is built on minimalist lines, enriched with Moncler’s design codes. The removable down-filled nylon layer transforms an elegant outerwear piece into a technical puffer, or vice versa. The metallic logo, a symbol of co-creation, is the only discreet decorative element.
Defined by a enveloping silhouette, the reversible Penguinone duvet is crafted in lightweight cotton with a distinctive tactile finish and a contrast-coloured lining.
Wool gabardine trousers reinterpret classic tailoring with contemporary proportions and functional details such as adjustable cuffs. The boiled wool sweatshirt, minimal in shape yet distinctive in details, reimagines knitwear with a hood inspired by the balaclava.
