Ralph Lauren’s latest drop of its iconic Stadium collection reissues is called Indigo Stadium. Taking its cue from the original Stadium collection, it tributes the sporty spirit of the 1992 Summer Games with an indigo dye twist, reminiscent of denim.
The line-up includes signature Stadium silhouettes with original Polo Stadium and P-Wing graphics bonded with new indigo fabric treatments for an overall edgy and modern feel. Bleached, vintage and timeworn effects highlight a popover jacket, a booney hat, a windbreaker and tear-away track pants. A P-Wing indigo-dyed fleece and denim-inspired long bill hat add the finishing touches.
Shot in Japan, a country with a long tradition of indigo dying, model-cum-dancer Taisuke wears the new six-piece collection in the ad campaign.
