From September 25 to October 2, Antonia Sant’Andrea presents “Behind the Curtain”, a Dries Van Noten pop-up installation dedicated to the Fall/Winter 25 collection, the debut of Creative Director Julian Klausner. Drawing inspiration from the raw intimacy of opera houses and the rituals of the stage, the space evokes the aesthetic of the Palais Garnier, chosen as the setting for the collection’s first show. Here, prints, textures, and embroideries interplay in a dynamic visual dialogue.
At its core, the Paravant Opera concept brings together Dries Van Noten’s Blow-up photography by Jet Swan with crimson velvet scenography and mirrored architectural forms. Sculptural panels and mannequins suggest characters caught mid-transformation, embodying the season’s silhouettes: corset-inspired waists, arabesque embroideries, intricate lacing, and voluminous tailoring.
The experience is further enriched by a curated selection of 15 Dries Van Noten Eau de Parfum fragrances, displayed on a black crystalline structure. This olfactory journey extends the visual narrative, creating a multisensory dialogue between scent and design.
To mark the opening of the pop-up, a special event during Milan Fashion Week will unveil the installation, a glimpse behind the scenes where personal rituals and artistic gestures invite visitors to enter the story and discover the most intimate essence of the brand’s creativity.
