Antonia Sant’Andrea hosts, from September 22 to October 1, the new Lacoste FW25 collection, a wardrobe that spans from the 1930s to today, infusing sportswear with a contemporary lifestyle dimension.
Since 2023, creative director Pelagia Kolotouros has been shaping a dialogue of dynamic contrasts: the technical lightness of sport merges with structured tailoring, heritage meets innovation in an ultra-modern attitude.
This new direction unfolds through striking proportions, silhouettes that reframe the archives, and a nod to the 1990s. Trapeze shapes and double-face knitwear pair with pleated skirts or fluid trousers in bold hues; double-breasted blazers alternate with oversized down jackets and technical trench coats. The iconic polo shirt is reimagined, extended into fluid dresses or transformed into structured knitwear to build refined layers.
Performance fabrics are blended with tennis-inspired materials: cashmere, bouclé tweed, shiny knits, and refined embroideries crafted by the Safrane ateliers give form to sophisticated ensembles balancing functionality and style.
Details recall the brand’s history: jewel-like embroidered patches evoke tournament medals preserved in the founder’s personal archives. The Lenglen bag also returns, reissued in new variations inspired by the movement of pleated tennis skirts.
The color palette mixes neutral tones with vibrant contrasts: monochrome looks in white, cream, green, black, and warm camel create visual harmony accented by vivid pink highlights.
The FW25 launch is marked by an exclusive in-store event and a dedicated takeover of the womenswear space, staged with red clay details reminiscent of the Philippe Chatrier court at Roland-Garros, the chosen setting for the collection’s presentation.
The new Lacoste collection is available in-store and online.
