MONCLER GRENOBLE: THE BEYOND PERFORMANCE EXHIBIT

From February 8 to 28 , Piazza del Quadrilatero is reimagined as an immersive journey. Here, Moncler Grenoble unveils The Beyond Performance Exhibit, tracing the brand’s story from its mountain roots to its evolution into an icon of style and performance.
The multisensory experience begins among trees and winding paths that echo the atmosphere of Monestier de Clermont, the Alpine village near Grenoble where it all began in 1952. From this setting, three thematic trails unfold, each exploring a chapter in the history of Moncler Grenoble.
The Blue Trail returns to the origins, when the brand produced technical gear designed to shield Alpine workers from extreme cold. A central space is dedicated to the historic 1954 Italian expedition to K2, outfitted by Moncler. Immersive videos, layered soundscapes, drifting snow and wind swept tents recreate the intensity of that environment. On display are original sleeping bags and anorak jackets, the first down pieces developed with French explorer Lionel Terray, and the iconic Karakorum jacket, still a symbol of modern outerwear.
The White Trail focuses on innovation on the ski slopes. Through immersive imagery and flurries of snow, the narrative moves from the ski suit created for the French Olympic team in 1968 to the official uniform designed for the Brazilian team at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Archival highlights include an Eighties creation by Parisian designer Chantal Thomass and a 1990 Paninaro down jacket signed by ski legend Alberto Tomba, illustrating how performance, culture and style have long intersected.
The Red Trail looks to the present and future through a mirrored runway that creates the illusion of endless paths. This section celebrates the brand’s transformation under the leadership of Remo Ruffini since 2003 and the launch of Moncler Grenoble as a luxury outdoor line in 2010. Key runway moments are featured, from the debut at New York Fashion Week in 2010 to the enchanted forest in St. Moritz, from the Altiport runway in Courchevel to an exclusive preview of the Aspen Fall/Winter 2026 collection.
