After the success of their first collaboration, MM6 Maison Margiela and Timex reunite for Fall/Winter25 with a collection that continues to explore the space between utility and form, between pop iconography and conceptual avant-garde.
At the center are the cult pieces T80 Gift Set and T80 Ring Watch, returning in a gold finish a gesture of “silent subversion through material expression.”
Since 1997, MM6 has been transforming the ordinary into the unconventional, and this collection is yet another example: an ‘80s digital watch reimagined to redefine the way it can be worn.
The T80 Gift Set preserves all the original Timex functionalities - chronograph, daily alarm, month and date display, and the signature INDIGLO® backlight - reinterpreted through a gold-tone stainless steel case and bracelet. The mirrored dial reveals a sequence of numbers from 0 to 23, with the “6” circled as a nod to MM6’s numerical signature. Inside the box, an additional bracelet enhances its adaptable and fluid character.
Even more radical, the T80 Ring Watch is available in two sizes, featuring a 20 mm case and an expandable bracelet designed to be worn on the finger.
The accompanying campaign captures daily rituals through a tactile, unfiltered lens: close-ups, authentic textures, the meeting of material and skin. The watch emerges not as an ornament, but as part of lived reality a silent companion to time.
