From October 5 to 12, Antonia Brera presents Tom Ford FW26 through a dedicated takeover at the Via Cusani 5 store.
“Seduction is a dialogue.” This is the premise behind Haider Ackermann’s collection for Tom Ford. A dialogue shaped by opposing forces: rigid and soft, sharp and enveloping, purity charged with tension. At its core is the idea of the perfect suit, reinvented, folded, and displaced from its most composed form.
The palette moves between absolute black and white, opening into deep blues and tobacco tones, punctuated by accents of green and red. A precise chromatic language that allows the construction of each garment to take center stage.
Cashmere and leather meet through a play of contrasting surfaces. The tuxedo carries traces of an elegance that does not conceal its history. Transparent plastic becomes the foundation for trench coats, cropped jackets, and raincoats that reveal rather than conceal. Soft trousers sit low on the hips, held in place by a slim belt - a minimal detail that shifts the balance of the entire silhouette.
Tailoring remains the focus of FW26: micro houndstooth, chalk stripes, fine pinstripes, and unbuttoned shirts.
Dark, washed denim marked by deep creases introduces a more everyday note: soft yet structured, or cut with an ultra-high waist as a direct reference to an Eighties aesthetic.
Only two evening dresses appear, both in black, with slender straps and deep back necklines. A pared-back approach that brings the body into focus while emphasizing the architecture of the tailoring.
