Akoni embodies the perfect synthesis of Swiss engineering and traditional Japanese artistry, combining essential design with meticulous construction.
Each frame is the result of a unique process that draws on time-honored techniques such as Kiriko glass cutting and Shodo calligraphy. The Japanese acetate used, sourced from renewable wood and cotton, is known for its exceptional density, durability and luminous finish.
The pursuit of excellence is evident in the most subtle details: from the knurled temples inspired by fine watchmaking to the titanium end pieces, high-definition lenses and ceramic nose pads.
The Sant’Andrea corner invites visitors to explore the most innovative side of eyewear, with clean lines, aviator silhouettes and rounded profiles where design engages with astronomy, architecture and technology.
