Eredi Zucca introduces its fragrance collection: eight perfumes inspired by the atmosphere of historic barbershops and shaped by Milan’s cultural heritage. Each bottle becomes a sculptural object, distinguished by a cameo portraying a figure who helped define the city’s artistic, political, and intellectual identity.
The collection is authored by four international perfumers: Blaise Mautin, known for bespoke fragrances; Marie Urban LeFebvre, professor at Isipca; Nanako Ogi of Givaudan; and Italian perfumer Luca Maffei. Their compositions draw from the classic notes of traditional ateliers - leather, tobacco, woods, lavender - reimagined with a contemporary sensibility.
Tabacco, aromatic and multifaceted, bears the face of Ludovico il Moro and blends cigar notes with patchouli, labdanum, geranium, and cinnamon.
Vetivero, dedicated to Napoleon Bonaparte, enriches vetiver with myrrh, musk, sandalwood, ambrette, grapefruit, and Calabrian bergamot.
Cuoio pays tribute to Giuseppe Verdi, La Scala, and the historic Hotel de Milan. Russian leather leads the composition, supported by woods, benzoin, patchouli, lily of the valley, vetiver, and citrus.
Narciso, inspired by Caravaggio and his Milanese roots, combines oud, Virginia cedar, benzoin, myrrh oil, musks, jasmine, grapefruit, and lily of the valley.
Ultima Cena translates Leonardo’s masterpiece in Santa Maria delle Grazie through palo santo, incense, woods, patchouli, and rose.
Duomo celebrates Gian Galeazzo Visconti, initiator of the cathedral’s construction, with a blend of rum, cinnamon, clove, pimento, lime, woods, patchouli, amber, and musk.
Veritas, linked to Alessandro Manzoni and his historic home on Via Morone, features nutmeg, pink pepper, cardamom, cashmeran, iris, helichrysum, vetiver, incense, and labdanum.
Novecento, inspired by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti and the Futurist Manifesto, opens with carrot seed, cardamom, and lavender before evolving into cedarwood, patchouli, ambroxan, and musk.
A distinctive journey that blends the spirit of traditional barbershops with a new, imaginative vision of artistic perfumery.
Eredi Zucca’s fragrance collection is available at Antonia Sant’Andrea.
