EXCLUSIVE: NEW FAY ARCHIVE JACKET FOR ANTONIA
Four other unisex jackets, in addition to the denim model, will also be available for purchase.
The installation, which will be on display until Oct. 31, will showcase large-as-life photos and ice cube replicas with the jackets frozen inside.
The Antonia 4 Ganci is a tribute to the world’s most iconic workwear material, the “Genoa cloth” or denim, and its rich chronicle of social evolution, from work garb to Hollywood staple, from a symbol of anti-fashion at the Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow in 1957 until today.
Fay Archives, launched in 2019 by Diego and Andrea Della Valle, celebrates the brand's original workwear and outdoor attitude seen through the eyes of Alessandro Squerzi, a vintage expert, fashion retailer, and men’s street-style celebrity.
The Fay story began in the 1980s when the Della Valle brothers lived in the U.S. and acquired the E.A. Fay brand. They transformed one model, inspired by the one used by firefighters in Maine, into instant success. Mixing workwear heritage with an urban look, Fay jackets quickly became cult pieces with iconic details such as metal-plated hooks, cotton canvas, leather sleeve trims, and corduroy collars.
