The ongoing collaborative tie between Jil Sander and accomplished avant-garde photographer Chris Rhodes continues into the new season with the house’s SS 2022 ad campaign. Lucie and Luke Meier, the creative duo helming Jil Sander, chose a mix of natural and urban spaces around the French capital as the backdrop, captured by the Rhodes’ experimental eye and wrapped in a feeling of improvisation and anticipation.; The outcome is an appealing mix of interiors and exteriors, full-lengths and crops, black and white and color, day and night. Where the clothes blend with abstract forms and muted colors veer into a crescendo of liveliness.
