Action Bronson returns to collaborate with New Balance, unveiling his first take on the 1890, a silhouette that blends archival heritage with modern innovation.
The “Cyborg Tears” colorway plays in shades of blue, accented by metallic silver overlays that create an immediate visual contrast. The cool palette is punctuated by bright red details on the sole and bold black inserts at the base and heel.
The ABZORB 1890 silhouette emerges from a dialogue between archival references: the upper draws inspiration from the 890v3, featuring a wavy pattern over exposed mesh, while the cushioned ABZORB midsole is borrowed from the 2002. The result is a sneaker with a futuristic edge, enriched by reflective elements and BAKLAVA co-branding.
The ABZORB midsole ensures cushioning through a balance of shock absorption and compression resistance, while synthetic TPU and lightweight mesh overlays provide structure and support. A rubber outsole completes a design that sits between tech runner performance and lifestyle sophistication.
