WOOLRICH X N. HOOLYWOOD

Daisuke Obana, the creative director of N. Hoolywood, describes his tie-up with Woolrich as an experiment. “I was curious to discover what would have happened by combining the strength of weak spots and the result is a beautiful graphic motif never seen before,” he said. For his first collaboration with Woolrich, Obana exploited his know-how of raw materials and passion for vintage apparel, starting with Woolrich’s iconic plaid and camouflage fabrics, which he reworked with inventiveness and exclusivity. The touchpoint between the two brands is the desire to create resistant apparel that adapts to different social contexts. The collection includes four highly distinctive pieces, characterized by a mashup of checks and camouflage that blur into an all-over graphic pattern in shades of green and gray, accentuated by pops of red, yellow and purple. The key piece is a roomy parka with big pockets and neon bright knitted borders, rounded out by a wool shirt in a retro-inspired multicolor palette, stuffed vest and waterproof nylon track pants.
