Launched in 2018 by Charaf Tajer, Casablanca is a fledgling and exciting new fashion brand that has shot to success in a restrained time frame. Yet Casablanca’s founder and creative director Tajer is no newcomer to the fashion world having contributed to rise of French brands Pigalle and Le Pompom as well as being a contributor of Off-White, Nike and Missoni. In that light, Casablanca’s long terms plans are to create a mainstay brand that offers a new experience thanks to Tajer’s affinity for old-world elegance rooted in his childhood memories of growing up between Paris and Casablanca. His inspiration? The world’s finest hotels, classic and international music and a deep love for French architecture. By applying Neapolitan tailoring techniques to leisure wear, the collection offers an elegant update on contemporary dressing rendered through luxurious textures and lively colors.
