TIMBERLAND X RÆBURN: ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECES FOR F/W 2019-20

Timberland’s collaboration with British fashion designer Christopher Raeburn further elevates the storied brand’s commitment to sustainable fashion. Besides apparel, the new Timberland x Ræburn Collection also includes footwear and bags. Alongside running his namesake brand, Raeburn is also Timberland’s Global Creative Director since 2018. In line with his REMADE philosophy, Raeburn utilized decommissioned military parachutes to re-create original Timberland silhouettes, including the brand’s iconic Weatherbreaker Jacket. These one-of-a-kind pieces employs organic and recycled materials throughout, including Timberland’s trademarked ReBOTL™ material. In a bid to counter the abundance of plastic accumulating in landfills and oceans around the world, ReBOTL™ material contains at least 40 percent of recycled plastic. The new Timberland x Ræburn collection plays with geometric color-blocking in utilitarian hues of red, grey, black and olive. One unique detail is the signature Timberland x Ræburn “tape,” used as drawstrings, zipper pulls, seam covers and in other strategic places to create bold, fashionable accents.
