THE BALENCIAGA IG VIDEOS BY YILMAZ SEN

Call it a twist of style. Literally. That's because in the latest Balenciaga video clip posted on IG, the avatar-like models clad in the brand's Resort 2019 garb bend, morph and slither in distorted, unnatural poses like marionettes. For the occasion, the luxury label, creatively helmed by Demna Gvasalia, has teamed up with motion artist Yilmaz Sen, setting off the clothes against an urban backdrop. The surreal animation is yet another project in a series of ground-breaking, computer-generated initiatives, developed with the house's stylist Lotta Volkova.
