Adidas Originals unveils Objects of Legacy, a collection dedicated to some of its most enduring silhouettes, united by a defining color code: Stan Smith white and green. Chosen not for contrast, but for its enduring significance, this palette has remained an instantly recognizable marker of identity across decades.
At the heart of the collection is the Stan Smith, both a visual and conceptual reference point. Its distinctive codes, clean proportions, considered details, and soft leather construction are applied across each silhouette, creating a shared design language. The result is a cohesive dialogue between archive and contemporary culture.
The Stan Smith 80s is a faithful 1:1 reissue of the 1986 tennis classic. Featuring a shorter tongue, refined heel construction, and a sleeker silhouette, every element has been carefully recreated.
Originally rooted in 1980s fitness culture, the Powerphase returns with a redesigned double-layer cupsole and EVA midsole. Its clean leather upper and understated detailing remain true to the original, while subtle structural updates bring it into the present.
Less familiar yet equally significant, the Tango Magnum was first introduced in the late 1980s for indoor football. Today, it bridges the adidas archive and contemporary street style. A short tongue, suede T-toe overlay, and supple leather upper preserve its archival character while giving it renewed relevance.
