A Precise Style
With mentors such as Thierry Mugler and Jean-Paul Gaultier, it’s no wonder that Alexandre Vauthier has scaled the ladder of success with élan.
Soon after his graduation, the French designer joined the design studio of Thierry Mugler, who taught him thoroughness in the construction of a garment, an experience that landed him the role of head designer of the Jean-Paul couture collection. This eight-year stint boosted his desire to fully express his creative whim via a namesake collection. So, voilà, in 2009, he launched his own line. To further hone his vision, Vauthier worked in Japan and spent time in the U.S.
His natural penchant for preciseness, rigor and radical cuts is expressed through a fresh style inspired by his French background and Anglo-Saxon influences.
Vauthier’s unique expertise and sense of luxury have allowed him to create flattering, seducing shapes with a focus on intricate cuts, beguiling details and exquisite fabrics that ultimately enhance the female figure.
