ISABEL MARANT F/W 2015
THE DESIGNER WORKS HER QUINTESSENTIAL VIBE
Part sailor, part pirate, part ladylike, the Isabel Marant fall collection displays the designer’s penchant for mixing commercial clout, contrasting themes and her typical Parisian attitude.
Marant’s form-hugging or chunky Irish knits, often featuring retro stripes, are effortlessly countered by ruffled flourishes and Ikat prints worked on loose and languid tops. On the bottom, either taut shorts with buttoned front or soft skirts.
To brave the winter chill, go for the roomy patterned car coats or softly-tailored classics in black and gray. The designer’s stalwart fans, or edgy types in general, can now plan a closet refresh with the designer’s youthful mismatch. To feel oh-so-cool.
