GRIMES’ ART ANGELS FILM
A MULTI-FACETED ARTIST
Canadian synthpop songstress Claire Boucher, known as Grimes, has released Art Angels, her much-anticipated fourth album filled with experimental influences. The album also features guest vocals Taiwanese rapper Aristophanes and American recording artist Janelle Monáe. The two hit singles are "Flesh without Blood" and "Scream." According to reports, Art Angels sold 11,000 copies in the first week of its release, becoming Grimes’ highest charting album to date. Now the quirky and chameleon-like singer stars in a new documentary chronicling the evolution of Art Angels. Capturing her different personalities, the on-the-road film captures a bunch of different moments, from her cover shoot to her performance at New York’s Terminal 5.
