AIR MAX 2 LIGHT ATMOS
In collaboration with Japanese brand Atmos, the special edition of the Air Max 2 Light revisits Nike’s apparel from the Nineties with a vivid, lively patchwork-cum-collage design that differs from shoe to shoe, creating an eye-catching mismatch.
Flanking the shoe is the release of co-branded apparel, again multi-colored and graphic for a line-up that includes track jackets, sweat pants, caps and totes.
“The first Air Max2 Light colorway is a super flashy and aggressive combination of colors, while the other one is a more modest, black-based colorway,” says Koji, Atmos’ Creative Director, who helped identify 12 vintage apparel references for the shoe’s patchwork.
The shoe also features asymmetrical embroidery and screen-printing, pronounced stitching, and a clear, plastic version of the original, jagged overlay. Laces come in orange, yellow, and purple options.
So, boost up your day with a burst of color that looks awesome under the classics - white, black and denim.
