A BIG EVENT AND EXCLUSIVE ICONS FOR DIOR'S POP-UP STORE
It was a buzzy, high-profile event that kept guests on their toes - literally - as Eleonora Abbagnato, first ballerina of the Opera of Rome performed live, wrapped in a cloud of embroidered tulle, flanked by dancers Alessandra Amato, Marianna Suriano, Domenico Gibaldo and Andrea D'Ottavio.
Antonia and Dior celebrated the opening of the French fashion house’s pop-up boutique inside our store with a high-wattage cocktail party and a guest list that included Dior’s Creative Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Eleonora Carisi, Melissa Satta, Veronica Ferraro, Federica Fontana and Paula Cademartori.
Timed in conjunction with the Salone del Mobile furniture fair, the temporary space available until April 14 carries a selection of ready-to-wear and accessories from the Spring-Summer 2019 collection and kaleidoscopic window displays that homage the avant-garde universe of dancer Loïe Fuller, one of Chiuri's muses for the season.
Exceptionally, the offering includes an exclusive Saddle-inspired belt bag in the Dior Oblique canvas the iconic Saddle, revisited in leather or denim with a bold tie-dye print, and the Dior Book Tote. Blue versions of the hypnotic pattern will also feature on items from the Dior Maison collection, available by special order.
