Men’s wear brand Willy Chavarria is a conceptual fashion label characterized by a cinematic approach to design. A master at mismatching workwear elements with streetwear, the Latino designer imbues his collections with a sense of drama, excitement, and social awareness. The spring-summer lineup was no exception.

Called “Please Rise,” it bonds religious beliefs and fashion with a monastic rigor that displayed the designer’s refined tailoring acumen and couture details wrapped in gender fluidity: double-breasted suits, strong shoulders, cotton shirts resembling clerical collars, exaggerated pants, and full skirts.
