For spring, the designer considered the uncertain, challenging times and chose to elevate her festive, captivating vibe. In her view, women should dress up even on casual, laid-back occasions. Hence, the collection is quintessentially Johanna and as always precise in construction and exuberant in spirit. True to her roots, she offered a lineup filled with dresses highlighted by vivacious prints, pouf sleeves, bright hues, and ruched details. To round out the collection, Ortiz offers intriguing accessories in the form of lightweight clutches and bags made from Iraca palm fibers by local artisans and her embroidered Mochila bags crafted in collaboration with an indigenous community from Pereira, Colombia. Each piece reveals her commitment to excellence and originality rendered through imaginative design, intricate artistry, and interlaced by the beauty of the natural world and the glamour of modern sophistication.
