LANVIN NAMES BRUNO SIALELLI ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Lanvin has appointed Bruno Sialelli as its new creative director. The French designer hails from the menswear division at Loewe, joining in a turbulent moment for the fashion house, which has changed four designers in four years following the departure of Alber Elbaz in 2015. In his new post Sialelli, who was chosen for his strong, dynamic vision and team work, will also oversee bringing together Lanvin's menswear and womenswear divisions as fashion increasingly steers in a gender-neutral direction. Lanvin is owned by Chinese company Fosun International, which acquired the company last February with the idea of taking it in a new direction. Besides Loewe, Sialielli's past stints include experiences at Acne Studios, Paco Rabanne and Balenciaga.
