MODERN ROMANCE: ACNE STUDIOS SS 2023 CAMPAIGN

Supermodel and actress;Devon Aoki;is the face of the new Acne Studios SS 2023 campaign shot by Dutch visual artist Carlijn Jacobs. For the house’s 10^th-anniversary runway collection, creative director Jonny Johansson juxtaposed the sweet and the strong, the romantic and the experimental, transposing that feeling into the ad imagery. Clad in the season’s hero looks, Aoki poses against a neutral backdrop or sprawled out on silky pink sheets in a fusion of clashing looks: delicate gingham prints and metallic studs, sculpted cut-out dresses and corsage bras.
