OFF-WHITE™ SS 2019 NEW ARRIVALS

For his women’s S/S 2019 collection, Off-White™’s Virgil Abloh teamed up with Nike for a line-up that took its cue from performance and competition, style and sports. Flexing his creative muscle, Abloh opted for a stadium-inspired backdrop with top models, including Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Kaia Gerber, sharing the catwalk spotlight with eight femalestar athletes such as Vashti Cunningham, U.S. high jumper and the daughter of former NFL quarterback Randall Cunningham; Caterine Ibargüen, a Colombian athlete competing in high jump, long jump and triple jump; British sprinter Dina Asher-Smith; British heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson. Channeling Serena Williams’s ability to blend points and feminity, the clothes married ath-leisure elements with feminine staples like eveningwear and high heels. For men, Abloh reworked the basics with his signature, hyper cool street culture spin, which included a plethora of graffiti T-shirts, innovative and ripped denim, new treatments including acid washes and graphics inspired by American graffiti artist Dondi White, plus Bart Simpson imagery.
