Launched for the Holiday season, Polo Ralph Lauren’s Polo Sport Outdoors Capsule brings back The Polo Sportsman spirit with a crop of rugged favorites, bold colors, and western influences, culled from the archives. A limited-edition line-up where each piece is numbered to highlight its exclusivity, the capsule re-issues and re-interprets the original 1998 Sportsman and Sportswoman rugged mountain sports collections and its tried-and-true outdoor apparel. Original vintage Polo Sport graphics and logos are featured alongside vintage-inspired prints from the Nineties, appearing on outerwear, pants, sweaters, accessories, and footwear. The standout pieces are an anorak and sweater poncho featuring a re-interpretation of poster art via an intricately painted and recolored “River Guide” print onto both silhouettes.
