In typical Alessandro Michele mode, the Gucci Cosmogonie Cruise 2023 collection was filled with references, different periods, bursts of eclecticism, and a spectacular irreverence, all topped with the designer’s passion for constellations. Unveiled in the 13^th-century Castel del Monte in Apulia, a majestic fortress commissioned by the emperor Frederick II, the collection was a fest of medieval hints, lively colors, steamy see-through lace, prim ladylike suits and coats, and a little Greta Garbo. An array of eye-catching shoes and bags added that iconic final touch and desirability.
