From 24 February to 8 March, Antonia Sant’Andrea will host Carven’s first exclusive pop-up, bringing together the SS26 collection and Juliette Teste’s ceramic sculptures.
The collaboration creates a dialogue between distinct aesthetic codes: on one side, the Parisian maison’s Esperanto line, a rigorous study of the female form; on the other, the French artist’s vases, built through layered collages where ancient shapes meet luminous glazes inspired by frescoes and pop culture.
Tested works from her studio in Le Pré-Saint-Gervais, where she co-founded the collective ARC. Her vase-drawings emerge from spontaneous gestures on clay, offering a personal reinterpretation of art history through free narrative elements.
Carven’s first collection under the artistic direction of Mark Thomas traces urban silhouettes and immediate design. Intentional lines, colours in dialogue with skin: the full white of the orchid - Madame Carven’s favourite flower - set against smoky blacks, greys, and light écru. Scarf details and the iconic Esperanto waist bring movement to sophisticated sportswear, while lace, lingerie, cotton voile, jacquard, silk, and moiré pay tribute to French savoir-faire.
