SINGING IN THE RAIN - BURBERRY AD CAMPAIGN
Dec 14, 2020
In an ongoing quest to celebrate community, creativity and the voices of the future, the latest Burberry campaign brings together different creative spheres, juxtaposing fashion, dance and sport, united by youth and creativity.
“This campaign is about looking forwards, looking to the future - inspired by youth, it brings together a community of different talents and worlds as one. United by passion, commitment and love, this campaign is a celebration of their dreams, of exploring and of always going beyond,” says Riccardo Tisci, Chief Creative Officer of Burberry.
Dynamic, diverse and free in true Burberry spirit. Transporting the viewer from the everyday to the extraordinary, it creates an empowering flight of fantasy. Choreographed by (LA)HORDE, four young dancers - Kevin Bago, Robinson Cassarino, Chantel Foo and Zhané Samuels - dance liberally to the notes of a Singing in the Rain remix, in a city-to-shore setting and ducking splotchy snowballs. Signature house codes include iconic outerwear alongside trench coats, diamond-quilted barn jackets and hooded puffer jackets made from recycled nylon, accessorized with the Pocket Bag, an archive-inspired tote in canvas and topstitched leather.
“I’m honoured that Burberry can partner with Marcus Rashford and amazing organisations around the world to give back to the next generation, allowing them to explore their dreams. It’s all about that fearless spirit and imagination when pushing boundaries, something that we hold so close to our hearts at Burberry,” adds Tisci.
