Loewe marks its 180th anniversary with a reedition of the Amazona bag, first introduced in 1975 and originally conceived for the women entering the workforce in post-Franco Spain. The new interpretation is signed by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, marking their debut as creative directors of the house.
The Amazona 180 refines the original silhouette without altering its essence. The profile appears softer, the classic Anagram replaced by a double L monogram, while the construction is designed to be carried open. The padlock engraved with the Anagram motif remains the only detail preserved from the archive. The bag retains the functional logic of the original: a clean form, free from superfluous decoration, developed in selected materials chosen for durability and long-term structure.
Available in three versions: Mini in Dark Chestnut, Small in Dark Chestnut and Small in Royal Azur.
Presented in the campaign photographed by Talia Chetrit, the Amazona 180 is available at Antonia Brera and online.
